Student Led Conference Reflection

The things I enjoyed most about my S.L.C. were:
Getting to share my learning to my mum because she doesn't know much about what I do at school.

What went well and why?:
The whole thing because when I was sharing my learning, everything went perfect and I didn't mess anything up or miss out on sharing any part of it.

What were the challenges you faced when preparing and presenting your S.L.C.?:
When I was sharing the strategy for the Pythagoras Theorem because it was tough when I didn't want to get the question wrong when my mum was watching.

What changes would you make for next time and why?:
No changes because it was perfect and I got to share everything.

Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports andactivities.

WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.

My Strengths

The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were, swing the the bat and follow through, stand on my side and keep my eye on the ball.

The throwing and catching strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were, watch the ball so I wouldn't get hit and I would know where it was at all times.

My Next Steps

To improve my striking of a ball I need to have more control over the bat and keep my eye on the ball because I need to make sure I hit it not it hit me.

To Improve my catching and fielding I need to jump if it's a high ball and use two hands because if I jump I have a better chance at catching it and two hands so I do get it.

The game that I enjoyed the most was all of them because we played a range of games because I learnt lots and had fun.

Flag Referendum

Flag Referendum

We learnt about the Flag Referendum. We did an activity which got us thinking about both of the opinions on both sides of the flags. We weighed up the pros and cons then came up with a final decision.

I think I did well because I could say what flag I wanted and give a valid reason why I wanted that flag.
